8. THE PROBLEM WITH ANXIETY
▪ Even though Anxiety is trying to help you it cannot communicate with you verbally.
▪ This means it signals a threat by giving you feelings to make you run from the situation.
▪ You interpret the feelings as something hugely threatening and feel even more fear!
▪ The problem which began the anxiety may have happened many years previously.
▪ You are unlikely to remember what caused the anxiety to start.
▪ In many cases the feelings started in childhood and are long forgotten

10. WHY MANY CURRENT METHODS DON’T HELP
ANXIETY
▪ A doctor may give you medication to overcome your anxiety – this calms
you a little but does not help when you encounter your anxiety triggers.
▪ Counselling helps you to talk about your feelings – this can help some
people but in many cases it does not resolve the issue.
▪ Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – Gives you methods to cope and rationalise
with your anxiety. Yet many anxiety sufferers find that it does not help or
the anxiety returns when they encounter another stressor.
11. WHAT IS DIFFERENT ABOUT ANXIETY COACHING &
HYPNOSIS?
▪ Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation – when you are relaxed you are less likely to feel
anxiety. Regular practice lessens the feelings of anxiety.
▪ Positive visualisation and mental rehearsal under hypnosis can help you to practice
dealing with your stressors but when you are incredibly relaxed.
▪ Most importantly in most cases we are able to find out what your inner bodyguard is
trying to help with. Anxiety Hypnosis enables you to remember information or connect
memories with your current problems.

13. ONLINE THERAPY SESSIONS
▪ As technology has improved many of my sessions take place on Skype or
Facetime.
▪ I also see a limited number of clients on a one to one basis.
▪ Hypnosis online is just as successful as face to face work.
▪ For many people it is even better as they are more relaxed at home.
▪ I work with clients all over the world!
14. WANT TO WORK WITH ME?
▪ If you would like to seriously tackle your anxiety then please schedule a time to
talk with me in person via the booking form below.
▪ Please do not arrange an appointment unless you are willing to start work in
the next two weeks.
▪ I ask all my clients to commit to a minimum four session program.
▪ Each client must ensure they are free at least once a week for a session.
▪ Sessions take place Monday to Thursday. Last appointments 7-8pm.
▪ You must commit to follow my instructions and homework.
