1. Enjoy a better feel for nature with the Trail Glove trail runner from Merrell. Their trademark
Glove line goes off-read with the same ultra-sleek fit and feel. Mesh keeps you cool and the
extended toe protects against roots and rocks.
Overall Rating (based on customer reviews): 4.5 out of 5 stars
These multi-purpose hiking shoes have breathable, vegan-friendly mesh uppers with a snug
lacing system that wraps their feet in a glove-like fit. A thin midsole offers a little cushion that
encourages a more natural stride and the footbed is treated with Aegis antimicrobial solution to
resist odor when they go sockless. A forefoot shock-absorption plate protects their feet from
impacts. The Vibram sole is made specifically for Merrell for lightweight, flexible traction without
the funky 5 fingers look. They’ll love the slip-on comfort of the Merrell Trail Glove Barefoot
Shoes for kids.

2. I was skeptical about the minimalist shoes at first and thought it would cause more problems
with me feet. I’m pretty tall 6’4” and have just recently started running again. Within 3 weeks I
was up to 4 miles when going for distance and 7:30 minute miles when going for speed. That’s
not impressive at all, but these shoes definitely work new muscles. I find my stride or gait to be
more efficient. Once your legs get used to your new gait, it’s a lot of fun.

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, so any military members know that going to the gym
becomes quite popular.
These shoes are amazing. I can not think of a better word to describe them. They fit like a glove
so you dont have to order a size up “to be safe”. The feel like slippers yet have enough support
that I wasnt afraid of stepping on anything sharp. I actually was able to bend the toe of the shoe
all the way to the heel. Can your running shoe do that?
And yes, if you are new to running barefoot or as a minimalist then please take it slow. These
shoes are designed to use your entire foot and leg muscles. After 3 miles my calves were sore
but I had no shin splint issues! To me that is worth the trade!
These shoes WILL make you faster. Plain and simple. When you learn to push off from your
toes and use your calf muscles then you will feel like you are flying.
My only regret is that I only bought 1x pair.

3. I recently switched to a more natural running style and chose this shoe from similar brands and
type because it just felt good on my foot. I use it to run 6-13miles of trail full of roots, rocks, pine
needles, etc., dry and wet and these shoes have performed superbly. I have good ground feel,
which helps in lightening my step, especially when I land on something obtrusive. The toe box
has plenty of room for my toes to splay and to wear a wool sock in the cold weather. Also the
toe protection has saved my toes when I have misstep and stubbed my toe. I also use VFFs
and a running sandal, but use these depending on the trail conditions and weather.
“Not worth the price. Falling apart!” I had these shoes for no more then 1 month trail running.
I ran trails, that are not “smooth” rocks, hills, inclines etc.. These shoes SUCK! I am not new to
“barefoot” running/walking. Water shoes work better then these. The inside lining was g… Read

“Nice looking shoes that don’t fir right.” I run almost every day on multiple surface types. I
bought these shoes to run around bases in Afghanistan that have no hardball roads to run on.
