1. Hamamatsu.rb is a regional Ruby meetup group based in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka prefecture. 2. The group was started in 2011 by @mackato, @suchi, and @cherencov and has held over 10 meetups covering Ruby on Rails, iOS, and HTML5 topics. 3. In addition to regular meetups, Hamamatsu.rb organizes related study groups and maintains an online presence through their GitHub wiki and Twitter account.
