Young Moore Honors Two Attorneys For Their Years of Service
1. David M. Duke
Celebrating 30 years of service at Young
Moore and Henderson, P.A.
David joined the firm soon after
graduating from Wake Forest University
School of Law. Having more than 30 years
of trial and litigation experience, David
focuses his practice on complex civil
litigation with special emphasis on the
defense and representation of trucking
and transportation, product liability and
business litigation. He serves as vice-chair
of the firm’s Practice Management
Committee and Chair of the Trucking &
Transportation Practice Group. David is
active in various organizations including
ALFA International where he has served
as an officer, member of its board of
directors, and chair of its transportation
practice group and the American Board of
Trial Advocates (ABOTA) where he is
immediate past president of the Eastern
North Carolina Chapter.
2. John N. (Nick) Fountain
Celebrating 25 years of service at Young
Moore and Henderson, P.A.
Nick joined Young Moore 25 years ago
already having 20+ years of experience
practicing law. His diversified practice
includes representation of clients in
matters relating to occupational licensing
boards and administrative law as well as
business disputes, real estate disputes,
estate problems and will caveats. He has
been involved in more than 40 reported
decisions in the North Carolina Supreme
Court, Court of Appeals, the Business
Court, U.S. District Court and the Fourth
Circuit. Fountain is a certified mediator in
Superior Court and in the Office of
Administrative Hearings. Having served as
a Past President of the Wake County and
10th District Bar, on the Board of
Governors of the NC Bar Association, and
as a Bar Councilor of the State Bar, Nick
has received multiple awards for Bar
leadership and historic preservation
