leadingthe recruitmentof theirDirectorof Surgical Services. Thisisa newlycreatedrole with
operational responsibilityforawell establishedsurgeryprogram.
Responsibilities:
The Director of Surgical Serviceswill haveresponsibilityforall aspectsof the surgeryprogramincluding:
SurgeryScheduling,PACU,OR,Endo,SPD,and the Procedural Care Suites. Thisisa positionthatwill be
taskedwithprogramand staff development,qualityinitiatives,strategicplanning,regulatory
compliance,andshortandlongterm planning. Ensuringpatientsatisfactionwill be amajorpart of this
role,as thishospital believesinprovidinga“VIPExperience”toeveryone thatwalksthroughtheirdoors.
The directorwill oversee the continuing educationandtrainingof all staff asthat is integral in
maintainingnursingstandardsandeffectivenessandefficiencytoensure departmentgoals.
Qualifications:
Candidatesmusthave previous ORscrub/circulatingexperience and musthave workedasa managerfor
a surgeryprogram. The ideal candidate wouldhave workedasa director. All candidatesare requiredto
be a licensedregisterednurse withthe state of Minnesota.
Timeline:
