11. Group Reflection
โข This experience was enlightening because we were not aware that
such a diverse and culturally-rich neighborhood existed in Chicago.
The areas we grew up in were composed of mostly one race with
very little diversity. Collectively, we found it very refreshing to
see all these people of different races and ethnicities living in the
same area. We were also very intrigued by the rich Indian culture
in Devon. Weโve been fascinated by Indian traditions, culture,
and art; as we travelled to the far west side of Devon, we felt like
we were in India. We can see why this area has the nickname
โLittle Indiaโ. Weโll definitely consider visiting this area again to
enjoy the food and scenery.
