Reach Out to Customers With Newsletter Printing
Printing and mailing a company newsletter is something that can be beneficial to all types
of companies and their existing customers, investors or contributors. Newsletter printing is
most often used by non-profit organizations to inform their contributors about how their
contributions have helped to achieve or maintain expected results for particular projects.
Newsletter printing for non-profits is also an effective way to let the contributor know how
his or her contributions have made a direct impact on people’s lives, which in turn,
encourages the contributor to continue to support the given causes. Usually the content of
a newsletter will include updated information about the organization’s progress throughout
the year and can also be packed with great new company information, entertaining stories,
upcoming projects and events, and lots of colorful pictures are used as well. Generally
newsletters contain four to six pages or more if needed. Newsletters can be printed on 8 ½
x 11 sized paper and is usually in a booklet form but can still look very professional if
assembled correctly without the extra cost of stapling or binding. Newsletters will usually
be delivered in a large flat envelope and contain a personal letter to the recipient as well.
You can also mail newsletters by themselves without an envelope to keep cost lower.
Additionally consider folding a 8.5x11 newsletter to 5.5x8.5 to reduce your postage cost by
going from a “flat rate” to a “letter rate”.
A common newsletter is several sheets of 11x17 folded in the center and saddle stitched to
produce 8.5x11 booklets. Always speak to your USPS Mail Analyst prior to designing your
newsletter. Postage rate can vary significantly depending upon how you mail your
newsletter. For non-profits a small return envelope, generally a #6.5 remit can be stapled
in the center of the newsletter for donation. Newsletter printing and mailing can be done
monthly, quarterly, or annually depending on the size of the company, the amount of
donors, investors, or customers and how necessary it may be to keep active
communication between the company and the customer. If a business constantly has new
products coming out on the market or has monthly specials, for example, then newsletters
work well to increase potential future sales by letting the customer know what’s coming out
on the market. Newsletter printing is also used by internet companies who sell products.
When your package arrives there can be a company newsletter included with the product.
Newsletter printing overall helps a company to maintain a certain image in their respective
industry and keeps their customers well informed.
