  • 3. After one of these?
  • 4. You are NOT the only one!
  • 5. Every meeting must 1 have a purpose!
  • 6. Meetings cost money , so question yourself whether or not this meeting adds value? This may seem like a no-brainer...
  • 7. It's all 2 about timing!
  • 8. Plan with a specific start and stop time. Respect and act accordingly to these times
  • 9. Keep the meeting on topic, all other things offline! Topics that don't relate to all attendants should be handled separately.
  • 10. Aim for a maximum of 15 minutes Be aware that people have a short attention span
  • 11. 3 No passengers!
  • 12. Restrict attendance to only those who need to be there
  • 13. A chicken and a pig are together when the chicken says, quot;Let's start a restaurant!quot;. The pig thinks it over and says; quot;What would we call this restaurant?quot;. The chicken says, quot;Ham n' Eggs!quot;. The pig says, quot;No thanks, I'd be committed, but you'd only be involved!quot;. Schwaber and Beedle, 2001 Only have people commited or involved in your meeting. This will reduce “off topic” discussions.

  • 15. Be sure to make notes have action points “What's the point otherwise?” send out the minutes “It's all about communication!”
