If you’ve forgotten your password, try Find My Account. New Users 1. Go to http://recruit.haas.berkeley.edu 2. If you use this system at other schools, consider using the same username and password (easier to remember) to Create a New Account. 3. In the Email field, enter the email address you use to contact us at Haas. This helps ensure that your new account is linked to your company file and you can view your OCR information. 4. In the Company Name field, search our database for an existing record. Trouble logging in? Contact Us.
  2. 2. CareerNet Quick Guide for Employers Recruit Berkeley-Haas MBAsHome Page Your home page displays recruiting information at a glance. • Request On-Campus Interview & Presentation Dates: Submit separate requests for internship recruiting, full-time recruiting, presentations (single-company event), and to participate in career fairs (multi-company event). • Scheduled On-Campus Interviews: Once you are confirmed for your interview dates, view schedule details and candidates for your on-campus interviews. (This is also where you can view applications for your OCR Resume Drop.) • Post a Job: If you have an off-campus opportunity, share it on our job board for all students and alumni. • Access Berkeley MBA Resume Books: Augment your recruiting efforts by purchasing our online resume books. These searchable databases contain profiles and resumes to help target your search. • We offer complimentary access to the Experienced Hire Resume Database for your higher level hiring needs.
  3. 3. CareerNet Quick Guide for Employers On-Campus Recruiting (1 of 3)OCR Submit an OCR interview date request You will need to know: • Your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd date choices. View our OCR recruiting calendar for available dates. • The number of students you’d like to interview, so you can pick a schedule template. • Once you’ve submitted your request, you can view them under the On-Campus Requests tab. • We will send confirmation letters out starting the week of June 14. Manage your OCR activities through CareerNet Access and edit your company information and OCR activities (and view your company’s history of activities). Load your job description • In your On-Campus Interviews page, edit Visit information to post your description in your visit file (you also have the option of including it in the OCR request). View applications Resumes and cover letters are available for viewing after the application deadline has passed. • An Invite List tab will appear on your Visit Details page.
  4. 4. CareerNet Quick Guide for Employers On-Campus Recruiting (2 of 3)OCR Selecting students for your invite list • Invite students through your Visit Details page. • Alternates are ranked in the order in which they are entered. (You can re-rank your alternates.) • Find Candidate to add a student that is not on your applicant list. • When you have entered your invite list and alternates, Finalize list to notify students and the Career Management Group of your selections. After your list is finalized, changes can only be made through your Account Manager. Your interview schedule Preliminary schedules are available for your review on Friday after invites are due. Your schedules and resumes will be emailed to you when finalized (three business days before interview date). Hard copies of your schedule and resumes will be available to your interviewers on your visit date (unless otherwise requested).
  5. 5. CareerNet Quick Guide for Employers On-Campus Recruiting (3 of 3)OCR Submit an OCR event request for presentations and career fairs Once your event request is submitted, our team will review and confirm your date choice and follow up with additional venue and parking information. Timing of your presentation We recommend that your presentation date take place before the application deadline associated with your on-campus interview date. 6. 6. CareerNet Quick Guide for Employers Off-Campus Recruiting (Using the Job Board) JobBoard To reach all student populations and/or alumni, post your job on our password-protected job board. Add a Job Posting • You do not need to re-post your OCR job in this section. Duplicate postings are confusing to students. • Students can apply directly to your website and/or email address, or select Resume Drop to have CareerNet collect resumes and cover letters for you. Sign back in at any time to review applications, or have CareerNet send you the resumes and cover letters as they come in, or at the deadline. • Postings default to 30 days of viewing. If your application deadline is shorter or longer than 30 days, please be sure to change the application deadline due date. • If you may interview on-campus, but are not sure, go ahead and submit an OCR request through CareerNet. • Post immediate-hire, post-graduate positions, summer internships, and part-time jobs and projects. For More Information Contact your industry account manager to discuss your company’s recruiting strategy. Email careernet@haas.berkeley.edu for CareerNet support.
