1. Chocolate Wine Martini’s for 2013!
It’s a new year! Which make it a great chance to make and try things that are different! I’ve
been interested in Martini’s lately. The mixing, the combinations and all the fun ideas
that mixologists come up with to create a unique Martini.
Here is a fun and budget minded Chocolate Martini recipe that I’ve used a few times. This one
uses chocolate wine in the recipe. Here is a quick photo overview of the ingredients for the
chocolate wine martini!
Chocolate Wine Martini (1 serving):
Prep: 1/2 hour prior to making this cocktail, drizzle Hersey’s chocolate syrup on the inside of a
martini glass and place it in the freezer.
2 jigger’s of Choco Noir Chocolate Wine (usually found in your grocery store)
1 jigger of Frangelico
1/2
2. 1 jigger of St. Brendan’s Irish Cream
Fill a martini shaker with ice, place all the ingredients into the shaker, cover and shake until your
arm is sore! Pour the contents into your chilled, chocolate drizzled martini glass and enjoy!
This drink is bound to have people begging for more from you! Here are some altering
suggestions to try once you’ve perfected the above version.
Top Shelf Recipe: Replace Chocolate wine with Godiva Liqueur, replace St. Brendan’s Irish
cream with Bailey’s Irish cream
Coffee Lover’s: Replace Frangelico with Kahlua
White Chocolate: Replace chocolate with with Godiva White chocolate liqueur and replace
Frangelico with white creme de cacao
