Located 38km from Lao Cai City, Sapa is a mountainous district of Lao Cai Province. Sapa District is
very well-known with Sapa Townlet, a beautiful and romantic resort. At the height of 1,600m above
sea level, the average temperature of the area is 15-18°C. It is cool in summer and cold in winter.
Here locates many ethnic minority groups with various cultures and customs making it an attracting
destinations for tourists. A trekking trip with homestay with the local would be the best way to learn
about the local people.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Sapa – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B/L/D)
You are picked from the station in Lao Cai to transfer to Sapa. Breakfast upon arrival to Sapa. We will
then walk around the small town, visit Sapa market before starting our hard trek of 12 km to visit Y
Linh Ho and Lao Chai villages of the H’mong minority. After lunch at a local family in Lao Chai or in a
drinking shop nearby the river bank, we keep on hiking to Ta Van village of the Dzay where we stay
overnight in a local family. Here you have opportunity to experience their daily life, work and original
custom.

Day 2: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan - Sapa (B/L/D)
Today, we will trek for 14 km to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan).
On the way, we visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge, enjoy landscapes through bamboo forest

2. on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa. Here, you will checkin the hotel or
guesthouse for few minutes break and shower before transferring Lao cai Station for night train to
Hanoi. Tour ends
