Dear Muscle-Building Friend,
It started off just like any other ordinary day...
Little did I know that in less than one hour I would end up making one simple decision
that would drastically transform my body, my mind and my entire life in a way I never
thought possible.
Here's how it all went down...
It was "fitness testing" day in my gym class senior year, and after wind sprints, sit-ups
and rope climbing it was time to test out our strength on the bench press.
Now, I'd been weak and skinny my entire life. Just take a look at my high school basketball team
picture above! With my tiny bone structure, noodle arms, skinny neck and bones popping out
everywhere, I hated taking my shirt off and was completely embarrassed about the way I looked. I
was shy around girls as well as the rest of my peers, and spent my days hiding behind baggy clothes,
unconfident and insecure with my scrawny little build.
Needless to say, I really wasn't looking forward to getting underneath that bar in front of the entire
class. In fact, I was nervous as hell.
The bigger guys in the class had been poking fun at me all year, and it had really taken a toll on my self
esteem and confidence.
I could sense that this was going to be trouble.
"Sean! You're Up!" Yelled The Teacher.
I nervously made my way over to the bench. I had no idea what to expect as I'd barely lifted a weight
my entire life. The teacher kept the weights modest, slapping 20 pounds onto either side of the bar, far
less than what most of my classmates were lifting.
With all of the strength I could muster I pushed the bar off the hooks and began lowering it toward my
chest. Sure enough, the unforgiving forces of gravity took over, sending the weight crashing down upon
me.
I was overcome with embarrassment as I wriggled and squirmed like a maniac, pushing desperately
with every fiber in my body to make that bar move... It wouldn't budge an inch. I could hear my
classmates howling in the background.
Mr. Wilkey had seen enough, and with one hand he snatched the bar off of me and told me to hit the
showers.
I stood up, dizzy and drenched in sweat, red in the face, my pride sucked right out of me. My

classmates laughed hysterically as I made my way to the changeroom, ashamed and rejected. I just
couldn't take it anymore.
I took my t-shirt off and looked at myself square in the mirror...
I Decided That Enough Was Enough.
I Was NOT Going To Stand For This Any Longer.
As I stood there in the changeroom that day, staring in the mirror at my pathetic, out of shape body,
something inside my head just sort of snapped.
I was absolutely sick and tired of being so preoccupied with my scrawny little body and decided that I
could no longer continue this way.
I started thinking really deeply about how badly I wanted to become bigger, stronger and more
muscular. I realized that there was no reason to continue living my life this way, and that I could never
achieve true happiness until I looked the way that I wanted to look.
I thought back to the seemingly endless days where I walked around with my confidence in the dumps,
doing everything I could to avoid showing people my body. I could remember the jokes and insults that
I endured from my classmates, and the profound effect it had on my self esteem and my outlook on life...
In That Very Moment, I Took The Leap Of Faith And
Made The Conscious Decision To Change.
I started envisioning what my new body would look like: ripped, muscular and defined.
I imagined the startled looks on my friends' faces as they stared in disbelief at my new physique. I
envisioned the attention I would get from women and could hear them saying "flex your arm for me!" I
thought about how amazing it would feel to put on a t-shirt and feel the sleeves hugging my newly
developed arms.
Once I was able to create a clear mental image of the body that I wanted to achieve and could literally
feel success at my fingertips, my mind took a 180 degree turn.
This was it, I was really going to do this. I had made the decision and their was no turning back. I was
going to prove everyone wrong and show them exactly what I was made of.
Little did I know the intense frustration that would stand in my way...
Endless Hours Of Painstaking Research &
Frustrating Trial And Error Experimentation.
I got home that night and headed straight for my bedroom. I sat down at my computer desk, opened my
Internet browser and began literally devouring every single piece of muscle-building literature I could
possibly get my hands on.
I found all sorts of websites with different muscle-building techniques and methods, all claiming that they
held the "never-before-seen-secret" to massive gains. I quickly realized that this was going to be no
easy task.

How could I possibly know who to listen to?
Well, the simple answer is that I couldn't know. There was far too much conflicting information out
there, and the only way for me to find out what truly worked would be to take all of the different
methods that I had come across and put them to use myself...
I Literally Turned Myself Into A Human Guinea Pig!
Desperate to achieve the muscular body that I wanted so badly, I took all of the different techniques I
had read about in my countless hours of research and started implementing them on a daily basis.
I tried absolutely everything.
I tried German Volume Training. I tried Body For Life. I tried HIT Heavy Duty. I tried Super-Slow.
I spent countless hours in the gym, slaving away, desperately trying to pack some muscle onto my
skinny little frame.
I pounded back thick, chalky weight gain shakes. I tried the "break-through supplements". I read the
muscle magazines. I browsed the online bodybuilding message boards. I took advice from the "buff" guys
at the gym.
Nothing was working. At the end of the day, my reflection in the mirror looked exactly the same. In
fact it actually looked like I had gotten smaller! Not to mention that I was several thousand dollars
poorer from all of the money that I flat out wasted on other internet programs, books and supplements.
After All Of My Research And Hands-On Experience,
I Made Some Shocking Discoveries...
I was starting to lose hope. I had been so diligent with my training and diet, had battled through so
much physical pain in the gym, had spent so much of my hard-earned money trying to achieve my
dream body, but had absolutely nothing to show for it. How could this be?
I felt ready to give up when I came across something that literally changed my life forever.
It was an old, out-of-date bodybuilding article, but one sentence leapt off the page at me. It said:

bulb finally went off in my head. It was an "aha!" moment at its best...

I realized that I would never become bigger unless I became stronger.
I went ahead and put together an entirely new routine, but this routine placed all of its emphasis on
building strength as quickly as possible.

Rather than worrying about that nonsense that was endlessly preached in almost all of the other
literature that I came across, my entire focus was now on moving more weight for more reps week
after week. In doing this, I would force my body to adapt to greater and greater amounts of stress and
would leave them with no other option but to grow.
I started putting this new routine to work and was absolutely shocked with the results...
A Couple Of Months Went By, And I Had Gained
12 Solid, Muscular Pounds Of Body Weight.
The feeling was absolutely unreal.
I could not believe that I was actually beginning to see and feel a difference in my body. My
muscles were getting thicker and more defined as each week passed as a result of my hard work in

I'm still training hard to this very day, and I can tell you now that making the decision to change my
body has been the best choice I have ever made in my entire life, bar none, no questions asked.
They always say that we shouldn't focus on material things, but my new, muscular physique has

Little did I know that in less than one hour I would end up making one simple decision that would drastically transform my body, my mind and my entire life in a way I never thought possible. Here's how it all went down... It was "fitness testing" day in my gym class senior year, and after wind sprints, sit-ups and rope climbing it was time to test out our strength on the bench press. Now, I'd been weak and skinny my entire life. Just take a look at my high school basketball team picture above! With my tiny bone structure, noodle arms, skinny neck and bones popping out everywhere, I hated taking my shirt off and was completely embarrassed about the way I looked. I was shy around girls as well as the rest of my peers, and spent my days hiding behind baggy clothes, unconfident and insecure with my scrawny little build. Needless to say, I really wasn't looking forward to getting underneath that bar in front of the entire class. In fact, I was nervous as hell. The bigger guys in the class had been poking fun at me all year, and it had really taken a toll on my self esteem and confidence. I could sense that this was going to be trouble. "Sean! You're Up!" Yelled The Teacher. I nervously made my way over to the bench. I had no idea what to expect as I'd barely lifted a weight my entire life. The teacher kept the weights modest, slapping 20 pounds onto either side of the bar, far less than what most of my classmates were lifting. With all of the strength I could muster I pushed the bar off the hooks and began lowering it toward my chest. Sure enough, the unforgiving forces of gravity took over, sending the weight crashing down upon me. I was overcome with embarrassment as I wriggled and squirmed like a maniac, pushing desperately with every fiber in my body to make that bar move... It wouldn't budge an inch. I took my t-shirt off and looked at myself square in the mirror... I Decided That Enough Was Enough. I Was NOT Going To Stand For This Any Longer. As I stood there in the changeroom that day, staring in the mirror at my pathetic, out of shape body, something inside my head just sort of snapped. I was absolutely sick and tired of being so preoccupied with my scrawny little body and decided that I could no longer continue this way. I started thinking really deeply about how badly I wanted to become bigger, stronger and more muscular. I realized that there was no reason to continue living my life this way, and that I could never achieve true happiness until I looked the way that I wanted to look. I thought back to the seemingly endless days where I walked around with my confidence in the dumps, doing everything I could to avoid showing people my body. I could remember the jokes and insults that I endured from my classmates, and the profound effect it had on my self esteem and my outlook on life... In That Very Moment, I Took The Leap Of Faith And Made The Conscious Decision To Change. I started envisioning what my new body would look like: ripped, muscular and defined. I imagined the startled looks on my friends' faces as they stared in disbelief at my new physique. I envisioned the attention I would get from women and could hear them saying "flex your arm for me!" I thought about how amazing it would feel to put on a t-shirt and feel the sleeves hugging my newly developed arms. Once I was able to create a clear mental image of the body that I wanted to achieve and could literally feel success at my fingertips, my mind took a 180 degree turn. This was it, I was really going to do this. I had made the decision and their was no turning back. I was going to prove everyone wrong and show them exactly what I was made of. Little did I know the intense frustration that would stand in my way... Endless Hours Of Painstaking Research & Frustrating Trial And Error Experimentation. I got home that night and headed straight for my bedroom. I sat down at my computer desk, opened my Internet browser and began literally devouring every single piece of muscle-building literature I could possibly get my hands on. I found all sorts of websites with different muscle-building techniques and methods, all claiming that they held the "never-before-seen-secret" to massive gains. There was far too much conflicting information out there, and the only way for me to find out what truly worked would be to take all of the different methods that I had come across and put them to use myself... Desperate to achieve the muscular body that I wanted so badly, I took all of the different techniques I had read about in my countless hours of research and started implementing them on a daily basis. Rather than worrying about that nonsense that was endlessly preached in almost all of the other literature that I came across, my entire focus was now on moving more weight for more reps week after week. In doing this, I would force my body to adapt to greater and greater amounts of stress and would leave them with no other option but to grow. I started putting this new routine to work and was absolutely shocked with the results... A Couple Of Months Went By, And I Had Gained 12 Solid, Muscular Pounds Of Body Weight.
