A survey was conducted among elementary and lower-secondary school teachers in Tarnowskie Góry county, Poland. The survey asked teachers 9 multiple choice questions about their use of IT resources like computers and the internet. The results showed that younger teachers with 1-15 years of experience used IT more often than older, more experienced teachers. Most teachers reported learning to use IT through self-education rather than formal courses. In general, the survey findings suggest that IT has become an important part of many teachers' lesson preparation and classroom instruction, but that usage varies depending on a teacher's age and years of experience.
