Student Success
Statement
By Hector Villegas
Student Success Statement
"Nothing in the world can take the place of
persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more
common then unsuccessful men with talent.
Genius will not; the world is full of educated
derelicts. Persistence and determination alone
are omnipotent. The slogan "Press on' has
solved and always will solve the problems of
the human race."
-Calvin Coolidge, 30th president of the United
States
What this successful statement is teaching us
is that if your smart, talent, gorgeous and you
don't have persistence for your dreams you
wont go far. It's important to be persistence
because it shows that you care and will fight
for your dreams no matter what. You will go far
if you are persistence, even if you don't have
talent or smart.
Student Success Statement
"Failure is only postponed success as long as
courage coaches ambition. the habit of
persistence is the habit of victory."
Herbert Kaufman
What this successful statement is teaching us
is that if you keep the ambition and persistence
you may reach your goals and become
successful. If you keep given your everything
and keep reaching for your dream you may
accomplished many things in life. To be able to
reach your goals you have to stop doing the bad
habits and start to do the right to be able to go
far in life.
Student success statement
"To see what is right and not to do it is want of
courage."
Confucius
What this successful statement is teaching us
is that if you are in a situation where you
know what the right thing to do is, and you
don't do it anyway, then you are cowardly or
weak of morale and lack courage. This is true
because if you have what's right in front of
your face and you choose to do the
wrong that's just sad to know. For example if
you choose not to do a project in school that
will help you raise your grade to a C and you
don't do it, that's lack of courage
and choosing the wrong.
