2. A brief history of our story so far
 The opportunity: Carbon credit market now worth $122 billion. By 2020 projected worth: $1.9 trillion
 In 2007 Albemarle Kapital gains first Host Country Approval for carbon reduction project in Uzbekistan
 The goal of the Samarqand landfill project is to improve the landfill, destroy methane emissions and construct a
composting facility
 The projects finances are underwritten by the value of the future carbon credits which generate real financial
returns
 Due to the financial crisis the ability to invest in projects ceased for a number of years. Throughout this time
Albemarle has sought alternative solutions to raising capital
 In partnership with Frontier Carbon we now have significant financial backing from the US-listed investment group,
Blue Sphere. Blue Sphere is investing $80 million in its existing project pipeline
 We have already structured insurance around the Samarqand landfill project and will commence investing in
early 2011
