        Assessment included a review of all financial systems and interdependencies for the purpose of a
          phased migration to more current systems and tighter integration.
        Secure application allowed login, and completion of the assessment online.
        Application provided real time reporting and completion status via Crystal Reports 10.
        Application was implemented to replace an Excel based solution that was time consuming and
          required far too much time and resources to analyze the data.
       Amscot Corporation (Tampa, FL)
        Technology: ASP (VB) – (later upgraded to .aspx), SQL Server, MapPoint Integration for
          visualization of all location in Florida online.
        Accepted delivery of Compaq server and performed all Webmaster/Network Administrator functions
          (i.e.: drive space partitioning, Windows 2000 Server installation, IP configuration, IIS configuration,
          and SQL Server install/configuration.) to migrate Web site to internal hosting.
        Completed SQL Server 2000 database architecture/build to facilitate web site enhancements/
          migration. Design accommodated integration with MapPoint 2002 software for publishing of
          detailed push pin maps for all 71 locations (as of 11/2003).
        Implemented business logic via custom written stored procedures in SQL for distance calculation
          between any zip code and all Amscot locations with sub-second response from home page (Zip

        SQL Server 2000 database design to accommodate custom login web service, interactive testing
          tool, online score tracking by course, and e-commerce integration.
        Built a custom login integrating Macromedia Flash, ASP and SQL Server 2000 as a web service.
        Implemented business logic via custom written stored procedures in SQL for processing orders,
          logging in, keeping track of course content and displaying personalized my courses page.
        Set up e-commerce on Interland servers via Miva e-commerce package.

     Exelon (Chicago, IL)
      Technology: C++, IBM MQ Series, MS Excel (Advanced VB custom application), Peoplesoft
         Application Engine for data movement, Informatica for ETL, Custom method calls via web service.
      Lead developer for Core Financials team implementation of PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 for one of the
         largest utility companies in the US.
      Developed sophisticated Spreadsheet Loader application with Excel, Visual Basic and C++ dlls with
         integration to login Web service attached to LDAP, and integration to IBM MQ Series for loading of
         journals and processing of Business Logic via Informatica.
      Coordinated testing and quality assurance for all Exelon standard builds (Win 95, 98, 2000, NT, and
         XP) to be deployed to over 400 accountants across the country including secure Nuclear facilities
         for custom journal handling.
      Developed and supported ODS (Operational Data Store) to GL interface application in Application
         Engine application to guarantee enforcement of business rules for all journals entering the General
         Ledger within an Oracle 8i database for $18 billion in annual journal processing. Application
         enforced 25 Accounting business rules based upon the type of journals processed and was able to
         place journals in a holding status if they were in violation. Application compensated for the amount
         of feeder systems necessary for an application this size. (Application went live December 2002 for
         side by side reconciliation, migration completed first quarter 2004)
      While supporting the mission critical application’s migration through thorough testing procedures
         (Given the post Enron environment concerns), developed an Income Statement, Balance Sheet and
Trial Balance for Benefits based on PeopleSoft Financials environment designed in Business
    Objects. Developed and rolled out reports for Corporate Center Bills and Allocations accessible via
    the portal based on EPM environment. Participated in the design of Business Object’s universe for
    Financial reporting, constructed the Benefits sub section.
Hacket Benchmarking (Atlanta, GA)
 Technology: Flash 4, SQL Server, ASP (VB)
 Created Flash ASP survey application fed dynamically from SQL Server 7 for Global Best Practices
    organization. Application allowed for simple re-skinning for customers and small 17K flash
    applications loaded instantaneously over 19.2 connections. Applications utilized full screen
    functionality for an enriched user experience.
Waste Management (Houston, TX)
 Technology: PeopleSoft HRMS, Financials, Kronos, PeopleCode, Application Engine.
 Served as Security Administrator for a large waste processing company for PeopleSoft HRMS,
    Financials, and Kronos. Resolved all issues relating to accessing PeopleSoft such as adding and
    removing department access, changing roles and reporting for major end-user rollouts.
 Administered security for Kronos during peak issue periods with add changes and deletes as well
    as correcting supervisor associations with accounts. Assumed active role in defining users,
    creating initial loads, and developing procedures for adds, changes, and deletes.
 Roll out was one of Peoplesoft’s largest HR Financials rollouts to date nationwide.
Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Newark, NJ)
 Technology: SQL Server, Visual Studio ASP (VB), Macromedia Ultradev, JavaScript, Flash,
 Webmaster and SQL Server DBA for development of large pharmaceutical’s major product web
    application redesign.
 Administered IIS4, SQL Server 7 for a secure development environment for the entire team.
 Designed SQL 7 database, wrote stored procedures and Active Data Objects for login, tracking
    progress, and customized patient education sheets printed using Flash and ASP. Responsible for
    all coding and integration with HTML layouts.
 Managed full application movement from development to staging for two separate phases.
 Coordinated and assembled the works of 5 graphic artists, 2 technical writers and 10 customer
    contacts to develop and fix any issues relating to the application’s functionality.
Yollo (Manhattan, NY)
 Technology: Visual Studio ASP, Flash, Oracle, Interwoven
 Completed technical proof of concept for large German Based portal. This 30-person team
    required integration with Interwoven, a content management system, driven by Oracle. Extensive
    ASP, JavaScript and Flash interaction. Site had to be developed in such a way as to allow 20
    copywriters, all German, to feed articles into Interwoven. Integration with Interwoven would permit
    non-technical writers to publish content seamlessly.
W3 (Orlando, FL)
 Technology: Visual Studio, Source Safe, Word
 Created Source Safe implementation and wrote procedures for version control and management of
    Java based web portal for global commerce enabling company. Procedures included checks and
    balance as well as back up regiments to insure that the integrity of each customer’s implementation
    was kept and versioning allowed for smooth upgrades to live web sites.
Home Shopping Network (Clear Water, FL)
 Technology: Visual Studio asp VB, Oracle, SQL Server, Java Script, Photoshop, Flash
 Created wire frame B2B application to mockup the design for web enabling the interaction between
    it’s over 2000 vendors for large television shopping company.                This included Shipment
    Authorization Requests, viewing and approving Purchase Orders and interacting with internal
    personnel to approve partial shipments.
 Responsible for user experience, ease of use, and error handling consistent with communicated
    business rules. Worked together with an Oracle DBA, ActiveX Data Object programmer, and Site
    Server expert to build the B2B site to specification.
 Responsible for coding all ASP, JavaScript and Flash functionality.
International Parts (Jacksonville, FL)
 Technology: Visual Studio asp VB, SQL Server, Java Script, Photoshop, VB Pipelines, Advanced
    data extraction.
 Migrated a national distributor of auto parts to a web enabled customer service/sales system
         integrated with a web-based storefront. Personally wrote the application to pull quotes and sales by
         user login over both the Intranet (call center) and Internet.
        Created database conversion from leading new and used parts distributor from a DOS based
         application, to a SQL Server 7 relational database. Wrote stored procedures to pull parts by
         manufacturer for any vehicle newer than 1970. Database included unique identifiers for over 52,000
         make, model, engine combinations and 6 separate manufactures.
        Created custom UPS cost calculation database. Received over 900 UPS database CSV files and
         wrote an application to merge files into one SQL 7 relational database. Created stored procedures
         to pass in weight, and zip codes that returned the total cost of the product including shipping cost
         for any number of ship from/to locations.
        Converted Western Union data extract to create a custom Western Union SQL 7 database to allow
         searching by address. Stored procedures identify the nearest western union locations.
       USTA -United States Tennis Association (White Plains, NY)
        Technology: Visual Studio VB ASP, SQL Server, Custom Reporting, Advanced SQL.
        National Tennis Organization E-commerce transaction re-engineering collecting between $10,000 -
         $100,000 worth of membership dues and league membership per day during peak season.
         Streamlining the transaction by consolidating business rules into a single stored procedure with
         transaction rollback. Modified performance over a frame relay from 55 seconds to 2 seconds per
         transaction.
        Created reporting for membership participation in league registration, Scorecard tracking, and e-
         commerce reconciliation for a projected user base of 500,000 – 1,000,000 users. Reporting
         includes online export of reports to Excel.
        Database normalization and re-architecture for movement of database from testing environment to
         production with SQL scripts from SQL Server 6.5. Modification of scripts to perform all changes to
         production while maintaining data integrity with minimal interruptions to web application access.

Matrix Resources (DBA/Programmer/Webmaster)                                                        07/99 – 10/99
       Turner Broadcasting (Atlanta, GA)
        Technology: Visual Studio ASP VB, SQL Server, Y2K issue identification program, Photoshop.
        Administered and added significant functionality to the Intranet Y2K remediation application for
          Global Broadcast company. Responsible for tracking the Y2K testing, repair, and real time project
          completion status for all computer equipment (servers, laptops, desktops) worldwide.
        Web application built with ASP and SQL Server 6.5 allowed all end users to search for themselves
          by name (search returned exact and close matches) and display all files on their computer or server
          that had Y2K issues after testing. Web application allowed 5000 end users to select any
          combination of files and submit a work order for remediation anywhere in the world. Employees
          were linked to departments and assigned project managers who would subsequently dispatch Y2K
          remediators to correct problems and update each work order. Application tracked over 3 million
          files across over 5000 desktops and servers, software applications by version installed on all
          computers and servers, and an ever growing log file of remediated machines with comments.
        Online project management functionality included linking of all users to work orders if they existed
          as well as real time complete status by mission critical and non mission critical users.

AHLS - Argenbright Holdings Limited Services (Senior Application Developer/DBA)                03/97 – 07/99
       Technology: Visual Studio VB ASP, SQL Server 6, Crystal Reports – with online viewing
         component, Lawson Financials on UNIX, BCP SQL Server, Flash, Photoshop.
       Created a data warehouse merging separate Financial, HR, Contract and Time Collection systems
         for the data collection and management of an International security staffing company (Largest
         Staffing Company in Atlanta). Delivered data warehouse driven online reporting system for
         immediate dissemination of financial and operational reporting by contract worldwide via corporate
         Intranet and Crystal Reports near real-time.
       Data warehouse provided full online searchable accessibility of reports for a 3-year span via Crystal
         Reports ActiveX within the browser.
       Created Intranet contract management and billing application to manage 90,000 hours per week
         acquisition integrated with the existing data warehouse as well as an acquired automated telephone
clock in application nationwide. Custom client billing logic drove complete pay bill reconciliation
          down to the employee level for over 700 individual customers with over 2000 contracts fully
          searchable online in real time.

UPS Corporate                                                                                 03/96 – 03/97
      Technology: VB 3&4, Access 2.0, VB for applications, MS Office.
      Designed an application to input one ton of surveys filled out, and collected from UPS drivers over
        US and Puerto Rico regarding UPS drop boxes. Managed a team of 5 data entry people and
        created an interface file for input directly into the UPS CRIS system.
      Created a client server VB3 application to print floor plan maps to aid in locating employees on the
        floor. Application also included a messaging and desk status interface so employees could more
        properly answer calls for the floor.
      Supported SSPG (Sales Strategy and Planning Group) presentations and monthly reports
        regarding sales statistics distributed to upper management.
      Supported UPS Online Corporate, which included calculating and distributing UPS Online system
        distributions across the US.

  • 4.  Architected web based application utilizing Windows 2003 Server and SQL Server 2000 for delivery of Financial systems evaluation and integration assessment.  Assessment included a review of all financial systems and interdependencies for the purpose of a phased migration to more current systems and tighter integration.  Secure application allowed login, and completion of the assessment online.  Application provided real time reporting and completion status via Crystal Reports 10.  Application was implemented to replace an Excel based solution that was time consuming and required far too much time and resources to analyze the data. Answerthink Consulting (Senior Consultant) 10/99 – 03/03 Exelon (Chicago, IL)  Technology: C++, IBM MQ Series, MS Excel (Advanced VB custom application), Peoplesoft Application Engine for data movement, Informatica for ETL, Custom method calls via web service.  Lead developer for Core Financials team implementation of PeopleSoft Financials 8.4 for one of the largest utility companies in the US.  Developed sophisticated Spreadsheet Loader application with Excel, Visual Basic and C++ dlls with integration to login Web service attached to LDAP, and integration to IBM MQ Series for loading of journals and processing of Business Logic via Informatica.  Coordinated testing and quality assurance for all Exelon standard builds (Win 95, 98, 2000, NT, and XP) to be deployed to over 400 accountants across the country including secure Nuclear facilities for custom journal handling.  Developed and supported ODS (Operational Data Store) to GL interface application in Application Engine application to guarantee enforcement of business rules for all journals entering the General Ledger within an Oracle 8i database for $18 billion in annual journal processing. Application enforced 25 Accounting business rules based upon the type of journals processed and was able to place journals in a holding status if they were in violation. Application compensated for the amount of feeder systems necessary for an application this size. Hacket Benchmarking (Atlanta, GA)  Technology: Flash 4, SQL Server, ASP (VB)  Created Flash ASP survey application fed dynamically from SQL Server 7 for Global Best Practices organization. Application allowed for simple re-skinning for customers and small 17K flash applications loaded instantaneously over 19.2 connections. Applications utilized full screen functionality for an enriched user experience. Waste Management (Houston, TX)  Technology: PeopleSoft HRMS, Financials, Kronos, PeopleCode, Application Engine.  Served as Security Administrator for a large waste processing company for PeopleSoft HRMS, Financials, and Kronos. Resolved all issues relating to accessing PeopleSoft such as adding and removing department access, changing roles and reporting for major end-user rollouts.  Administered security for Kronos during peak issue periods with add changes and deletes as well as correcting supervisor associations with accounts. Assumed active role in defining users, creating initial loads, and developing procedures for adds, changes, and deletes.  Roll out was one of Peoplesoft’s largest HR Financials rollouts to date nationwide. Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Newark, NJ)  Technology: SQL Server, Visual Studio ASP (VB), Macromedia Ultradev, JavaScript, Flash,  Webmaster and SQL Server DBA for development of large pharmaceutical’s major product web application redesign.  Administered IIS4, SQL Server 7 for a secure development environment for the entire team.  Designed SQL 7 database, wrote stored procedures and Active Data Objects for login, tracking progress, and customized patient education sheets printed using Flash and ASP. Responsible for all coding and integration with HTML layouts.  Managed full application movement from development to staging for two separate phases.  Coordinated and assembled the works of 5 graphic artists, 2 technical writers and 10 customer contacts to develop and fix any issues relating to the application’s functionality. Yollo (Manhattan, NY)  Technology: Visual Studio ASP, Flash, Oracle, Interwoven  Completed technical proof of concept for large German Based portal. This 30-person team required integration with Interwoven, a content management system, driven by Oracle. Extensive ASP, JavaScript and Flash interaction. Site had to be developed in such a way as to allow 20 copywriters, all German, to feed articles into Interwoven. Integration with Interwoven would permit non-technical writers to publish content seamlessly. W3 (Orlando, FL)  Technology: Visual Studio, Source Safe, Word  Created Source Safe implementation and wrote procedures for version control and management of Java based web portal for global commerce enabling company. Procedures included checks and balance as well as back up regiments to insure that the integrity of each customer’s implementation was kept and versioning allowed for smooth upgrades to live web sites. Home Shopping Network (Clear Water, FL)  Technology: Visual Studio asp VB, Oracle, SQL Server, Java Script, Photoshop, Flash  Created wire frame B2B application to mockup the design for web enabling the interaction between it’s over 2000 vendors for large television shopping company. This included Shipment Authorization Requests, viewing and approving Purchase Orders and interacting with internal personnel to approve partial shipments.  Responsible for user experience, ease of use, and error handling consistent with communicated business rules. Worked together with an Oracle DBA, ActiveX Data Object programmer, and Site Server expert to build the B2B site to specification.  Responsible for coding all ASP, JavaScript and Flash functionality. International Parts (Jacksonville, FL)  Technology: Visual Studio asp VB, SQL Server, Java Script, Photoshop, VB Pipelines, Advanced data extraction.
  • 6.  Migrated a national distributor of auto parts to a web enabled customer service/sales system integrated with a web-based storefront. Personally wrote the application to pull quotes and sales by user login over both the Intranet (call center) and Internet.  Created database conversion from leading new and used parts distributor from a DOS based application, to a SQL Server 7 relational database. Wrote stored procedures to pull parts by manufacturer for any vehicle newer than 1970. Database included unique identifiers for over 52,000 make, model, engine combinations and 6 separate manufactures.  Created custom UPS cost calculation database. Received over 900 UPS database CSV files and wrote an application to merge files into one SQL 7 relational database. Created stored procedures to pass in weight, and zip codes that returned the total cost of the product including shipping cost for any number of ship from/to locations.  Converted Western Union data extract to create a custom Western Union SQL 7 database to allow searching by address. Stored procedures identify the nearest western union locations. USTA -United States Tennis Association (White Plains, NY)  Technology: Visual Studio VB ASP, SQL Server, Custom Reporting, Advanced SQL.  National Tennis Organization E-commerce transaction re-engineering collecting between $10,000 - $100,000 worth of membership dues and league membership per day during peak season. Streamlining the transaction by consolidating business rules into a single stored procedure with transaction rollback. Modified performance over a frame relay from 55 seconds to 2 seconds per transaction.  Created reporting for membership participation in league registration, Scorecard tracking, and e- commerce reconciliation for a projected user base of 500,000 – 1,000,000 users. Reporting includes online export of reports to Excel.  Database normalization and re-architecture for movement of database from testing environment to production with SQL scripts from SQL Server 6.5. Modification of scripts to perform all changes to production while maintaining data integrity with minimal interruptions to web application access. Matrix Resources (DBA/Programmer/Webmaster) 07/99 – 10/99 Turner Broadcasting (Atlanta, GA)  Technology: Visual Studio ASP VB, SQL Server, Y2K issue identification program, Photoshop.  Administered and added significant functionality to the Intranet Y2K remediation application for Global Broadcast company. Responsible for tracking the Y2K testing, repair, and real time project completion status for all computer equipment (servers, laptops, desktops) worldwide.  Web application built with ASP and SQL Server 6.5 allowed all end users to search for themselves by name (search returned exact and close matches) and display all files on their computer or server that had Y2K issues after testing. Web application allowed 5000 end users to select any combination of files and submit a work order for remediation anywhere in the world. Employees were linked to departments and assigned project managers who would subsequently dispatch Y2K remediators to correct problems and update each work order. Application tracked over 3 million files across over 5000 desktops and servers, software applications by version installed on all computers and servers, and an ever growing log file of remediated machines with comments.  Online project management functionality included linking of all users to work orders if they existed as well as real time complete status by mission critical and non mission critical users. AHLS - Argenbright Holdings Limited Services (Senior Application Developer/DBA) 03/97 – 07/99  Technology: Visual Studio VB ASP, SQL Server 6, Crystal Reports – with online viewing component, Lawson Financials on UNIX, BCP SQL Server, Flash, Photoshop.  Created a data warehouse merging separate Financial, HR, Contract and Time Collection systems for the data collection and management of an International security staffing company (Largest Staffing Company in Atlanta). Delivered data warehouse driven online reporting system for immediate dissemination of financial and operational reporting by contract worldwide via corporate Intranet and Crystal Reports near real-time.  Data warehouse provided full online searchable accessibility of reports for a 3-year span via Crystal Reports ActiveX within the browser.  Created Intranet contract management and billing application to manage 90,000 hours per week acquisition integrated with the existing data warehouse as well as an acquired automated telephone

Managed a team of 5 data entry people and created an interface file for input directly into the UPS CRIS system.  Created a client server VB3 application to print floor plan maps to aid in locating employees on the floor. Application also included a messaging and desk status interface so employees could more properly answer calls for the floor.  Supported SSPG (Sales Strategy and Planning Group) presentations and monthly reports regarding sales statistics distributed to upper management.  Supported UPS Online Corporate, which included calculating and distributing UPS Online system distributions across the US.
