12. Clinical Teaching and Academic Work Load
• 60 students undergoing MBBS program and in
Phase III are posted for clinical clerkship posting
from 9 AM TO 1PM every year
• Two Ophthalmology Faculty is present :

• Strategy for marketing new services like OCT /
FA / Laser to outside doctors
• Improvement in the appointment system

14. Suggestions
• Pricing for many procedures are not included in the
HIMS
• Re-pricing of procedures like OCT / Visual Fields need
to be done to adjust for revenue loss due to blocked
appointments
• Two Specialist doctors
• Two MOH qualified nursing staff for additional
procedures
• Procurement of consumables like Fluorescein should
be expedited and made user friendly
