Limnanthes douglasii, commonly known as Douglas' meadowfoam, is an annual herbaceous plant native to western North America. It typically grows to around 30 centimeters tall and has small white flowers that bloom from March through June. Douglas' meadowfoam is an important crop used for its oil, which is extracted from its seeds and used in cosmetics and lubricants.
