A native of the Texas Panhandle, Dr. Christine Wright Holley, felt a strong call while in elementary school to both performing and teaching. She danced and sang in choirs and musicals through high school before attending Texas Tech University on a voice scholarship. She subsequently earned her Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music in Voice from West Texas State University. She spent a year in Tokyo, Japan where she attended Sophia University, modeled professionally, and taught English conversation classes before returning to Texas where she earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance at the University of Texas at Austin.
