Objective: This task is to take your favorite poem, or song lyrics and develop a two to three minute PowerPoint Multi-Media Presentation. This presentation has to include powerful images that serve to support the selected text. You can integrate the type and image in any new or creative way. Use your skills developed to date to create deeper layers of meaning generated from the combination of word and image. A key question to ask is how does an image function in a poem or song?

“Imagination is not, as its etymology would suggest, the faculty of forming images of reality; it is rather the faculty of forming images which go beyond reality, which sing reality.”
(Gaston Bachelard ,”On Poetic Imagination and Revery,” 15)
