Nietzsche discusses the role of history and how it can negatively impact people and societies. He talks about how certain groups like Jews suffered at the hands of nationalistic states and faced discrimination. In my opinion, there are a variety of different important ideas that I came across while reading
the pages that were assigned. In this book, Nietzsche talks a lot about where you come from and what
place made him. History can be hostile and sometimes even dangerous to people. It can certainly be
dangerous to some peoples lives. Nietzsche states that history can be bad or good, mostly hostile.
Many humans personalities are based on what happened in their past and while growing, history can
interfere with the collective of maturing. Not only did he suffer at times but Jews did too.
The problems with the Jews mainly existed within the national states. They were more intelligent
than others. This made journalists make vulgar papers that made jews look even worse. There are
people that will judge because of where you are from, what your religious practices are and what your
characteristics are. The question is, Who is to blame for all this? Who will be forgiven? There then
became darker ages that was taken place when cloudbanks from Asia settled over Europe. There were
certain Jews who were freethinkers, scholars, and physicians who took control and held up banners of
enlightenment to defend Europe against Asia. Moreover there were more judgemental occasions
involving gays, men, and slaves.
The word “gay” had many different connotations in the 19th century. Back then they meant
being extremely joyous or sometimes, cheerful. Nietzsche wanted to be playful yet impious. He goes to
talk about the “death of god”. Zarathustra was a lonely man who couldn’t trust anyone rarely.

2. Zarathustra and Nietzsche teach the theme of overcoming difficult situations in many ways. You have to
have trust. Time went on and he was yet alone again. Zarathustra has not yet hear that “God is dead”.
He wants to teach man to be such as known as a superman. There are still unfavorable conditions that
are needed changed!
