3. Despite her laudable achievements, Esther remains
modest and unassuming. She‟s not resting on her
laurels rather she‟s working incredibly hard to see a
world that works for all.
Esther is passionate about our climate and its
sustainability. She read a passage in a book that
says “if you know what your authentic passion is
you make that thing your middle name.” As a result
of her passion for environmental sustainability, she
made “climate” her middle name. The first time I
read her name three years ago: “EstherClimate”, I
paused to think. And according to her: “the idea is
that when people see and read that, they can reflect
on it, ask a question, and she gets the chance to
explain to them why climate change matters.”
Through this medium, she reached over 5000 youth
which includes me.
