1. Napoleon Hill once said, “procrastination, the opposit of decision is a common enemy while
particularly every man must conquer.” How many times have you procrastinated? How many times have you
promised yourself to lose weight? Maybe more than once ! Maybe you were successful maybe not? I have done this
many times myself, only to take four steps forward and three steps back! You see the picture? Well you are not alone!
Thousands are on the same round-about! However you view this topic of losing weight it comes with a longing to be
accepted, a longing of self worth, to look good ! feel healthier, and so on, we could tag on so many more reasons.
“opinions” or “redicule.”
How many times have you listened to friends and family who say negative things like. “ you will never lose weight” or
you look OK the way you are! when you know within yourself; you are not happy with the way you look and would be
much happier being thinner? To repeat Napoleon Hill “ Close friend and relatives while not meaning to do so, often
handicap one through redicule, which is not to be humorous. Thousands of men and women carry inferiority
complexes with them all through life, because some well-meaning but ignorant person destroyed their confidence
through “opinions” or redicule.”
I am sure you are not so different to me when it comes to encouragement, I thrive on it! I get encouragement from
“ The Secret Teachings” which says:
“When a big change occurs in your life it forces you to change direction. Sometimes the new path may not be easy, but
you can be absolutely certain that there is magnificence for you on the new path. You can be absolutely certain that
the new path contains things that you could not have experienced otherwise. When we look back at a negative event
that occurred in the past, we often see how in fact it transformed our life. We see how that event directed us toward a
life that we would not change for anything.”
My reason for writing this article is to encourage you to search the reasons why you have gained weight and to have
the courage to research and make the decision for yourself to lose weight! The only way to get motivated is to begin
with positive thinking and banish all negative thoughts that come to discourage you. You will find interesting topics
and stories of people like yourself, who had the desire to lose weight and WON! Look at the website below!

To encourage you! FOOD! Or more FOOD!
Food intake is the primary reason why your body gets out of shape, remains fit; therefore, if you like to have high-
carb diets, avoid them completely. Plus, diet is a significant factor that can contribute in an individual's overall health;
in fact, research has proven that in order to get the most from exercise, one should focus on his diet too. Foods that
need to be avoided are dairy products, meat, chicken, cheese; etc. These are not only high in fats, but also contain
cholesterol. Also, rather than going for 3-4 four big meals, divide the food into 5-6, but in smaller quantities.
My wish for you is that you achieve your goal weight, be happier than ever with yourself and prove to the world that
you are a person of worth and deserve the best that life can bring. Happy dieting.
