  • Your Questions About Listen To Music SongsRobert asks…Can listening to music and songs help me dream?I am practicing to lucid dream and I was just wondering if music might help me achieve this as Ido like to listen to some music and songs before falling asleep. If music doesn’t help is theiranything else I could try that might help? Thank you.Big Arn answers:Listening to music can most certainly help on several levels. It relaxes you, puts you in a morereceptive state of mind for sleeping and dreaming and can create a great variety of associations– all of which are conducive to dreaming. Absolutely. 1/8
  • Donna asks…Can listening to music actually give you an orgasm?Sometimes when I’m listening to music, to songs that I really love, I feel really amazing. I closemy eyes and yeah… I’m not gonna go into details. I just get really immersed in it and feel asense of release and ecstasy. I know this sounds weird, but I am kinda serious. So can listening to music really give you an orgasm? hehe.Big Arn answers:Some songs give me that feeling, like goosebumps, the chills, but also like a mild rush throughmy entire body. It doesn’t seem to always be the same song every time, but I do sometimes getthat feeling from something I think sounds really amazing or emotional.I feel like it’s from the song bringing back wonderful memories, or just from having an overallbeautiful sound.Ok I just tried listening to a song I thought might do it and I did kinda get that feeling again, lolhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bhip6_ynBn0 2/8
  • Richard asks…How does music affect the memory section of the brain? As in, when you listen to music certain songs trigger memories. Why does it do it? How doesit happen? And which part of the brain does it affect? Links to websites or pictures of this typeof thing would be very helpful. ThanksBig Arn answers:We did an interview w/ a musician named Evangeline. She is also a music therapist. She hadsome interesting things to say about this topic. Her official website (not MySpace) has severallinks to things like that. She is in our February issue. Just click on her name and her MySpace page is at the bottom ofthe interview. She has a link from there to her official site. 3/8
  • Chris asks…What is a free site that you can listen to the songs?I need to find a site that i can listen to music on. The song’s that i need to listen to aren’t onsome websites. The site needs to have songs from atleast the 60s and 70s.Big Arn answers:Grooveshark is the best.Http://listen.grooveshark.com/Laura asks… 4/8
  • Am I weird for listening to music for the melody rather thanlistening to the meaning of the lyrics?I have a habit of not listening to lyrics. I couldn’t care sometimes. I prefer listening to a song forhow it makes me feel. What do you like about music? I sometimes listen to one or 2 lyrics inthe whole song but couldn’t care about the rest. I’m just curious cause all my friends listen tomusic for the songs meaning rather the actual melody and I feel like I’m the only one thatslistening to music for the melody. Am I missing the whole point of the songs?Big Arn answers:Yesssss, you are missing it!!! The lyrics in a song can either make it or break it. If you have asong with beautiful lyrics then it just ties everything together. Lyrics are what make me happy. However, I sometimes feel like you do. A song that has the most ridiculous lyrics ever can comeon and I can love it because of the catchy melody or beat. I still think lyrics are more relevant, though.Sandy asks… 5/8
  • Is there a way to change the right left balance on songs in iTunes? My right speaker has blown, and until I get it fixed, I still want to listen to music. Some songshave certain pieces on the right side only, so it sounds really awkward. Any suggestions on howto fix this?Big Arn answers:The only answer is to get new speakers. Or u can go to your sound card on your computer &change the sound to MONO. Good luck.Helen asks…How do i get my iPod touch to change songs?while I am browsing the web and listening to music, the song repeats itself after it ends. Howcan I get it to change in alphabetical order by itself after each song ends? 6/8
  • Big Arn answers:My guess would be to disable ‘repeat’.Mary asks…What is the perfect stereotypical country music song that praisesbig, gas guzzling cars?I’m working on a film that deals with fossil fuels and carbon emissions, and I think it would beperfect if I had a great country music song in the background talking about big cars. the onlyproblem is that I don’t listen to country at all. 7/8
  • Big Arn answers: Another song you might want to find is “Lord Mr. Ford” by Jerry Reed. The final verse says, “How I yearn for the good old days without that carbon dioxide haze hanging over the roll of the interstate.” Powered by Yahoo!
