Operation Water Delivery - January 12, 2014
o Sherry Cooke coordinating Water Delivery with Dustin’s Angels / Elkview 12:00 pm.
Chastity Wickline plus friend available to help. Need one additional driver.
o Cheri Capuano coordinating Water Delivery with Small Miracles / Clarksburg 2:30 pm
Sara Hubbard offered use of Horse trailer/ Regina Wilson driving to location. In
addition to picking up water, Small Miracles has offered to take 4 dogs. Jen
Holestin and Megan Berry will assist getting dogs to Regina.
o Sherry Cooke coordinating Water Delivery from Pet Helpers – Fairmount WV
Boone County Dog Pound – Issues/Concerns/ Etc
BARC Volunteer (Regina Wilson) witnessed BCDP worker George administering contaminated
water directly to the pound dogs and puppies on 1/11/2014
o BARC supplied the BCDP with clean water today 1/11/2014 as well as individual
volunteers who live in the area delivered clean water.
o Cheri Capuano will notify the Boone County Commissioners Office of the situation and
request information on whether or not the County will be supplying fresh water to the
dogs and using non-contaminated water to clean the kennels.
2. Action Items:
BARC Volunteers have recently requested specifics on procedures, policies, limitations etc.
o In Response: Current By-Laws were distributed.
At this time there are no changes to be made to the current Bylaws.
o Revision of Current Documents – C. Capuano (January 2014) Presented for Review
Foster Application/Agreement – Revised January 6, 2014
Adoption Application – Revised January 6, 2014
Adoption Contract– Revised January 6, 2014
Volunteer Agreement– Revised January 6, 2014
These 4 Contracts/Agreements will be combined into one standardized
Contract/Agreement known as the “Standing Rules and Procedures
Volunteer Contract/Agreement” (C. Capuano)
In addition to the information included within each existing
Application/Contract or Agreement the following will also be added:
Mission Statement
Explanation of Rescue Procedures (A Dogs Journey)
Timeframe for posting “available animals” online.
Geographical areas in which B.A.R.C rescues animals.
Explanation of the Type of Rescue B.A.R.C Chooses to be and
explanation of how other rescues operate.
Information concerning Meetings.
General Rules and understanding
All active Volunteers and Board Members will be required to review and
sign this document once generated.
Board of Directors agrees to provide to the entire Volunteer Base the following information on a
quarterly basis. Items are to be posted on the BARC Volunteer Page via Facebook within 14
days of the schedule Board Meeting.
