1. How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts? The combination of my main product and my ancillary text has a good combination due to the fact my main product acts as a synopsis of my ancillary texts. I have specifically chosen to incorporate elements of my main product into them .This allows me to have a sound combination because it makes both main product and ancillary texts relevant to one another complementing each other well.

2. As my first ancillary task was a magazine, I was able to implement an image of my main actress on the front cover to show relevance to my product. Also, the colours chosen for my magazine are also reflective of my main product enabling me to convey the same tone within my product into the magazine. The black and white contrast creates a mysterious feel, giving a sense of what is to come in the main production. This combines well as the drama production is meant to have enigma in it so the audience do not know the plot. The shot used for the magazine spread is a close up on the main actresses eye. This shot I personally feel is a good close up shot as the audience are still unable to establish who she is. Which Is an element within the production itself. Ancillary task 1: Magazine

3. With regards to my radio trailer and the main production I used more features of my production to incorporate in my trailer. For instance the use of the same music in the background of the production is apparent in the trailer showing continuity between the two. Furthermore, the use of snippets of voices in the production are in the trailer also so the audience can distinguish the voices from the production. Ancillary task 2: Radio Trailer

4. As a result of the elements of the main production being apparent in the ancillary tasks I feel this is an effective combination. This is because real life films follow the same conventions with regards to the ancillary tasks being used to complement the film in order to entice people to the film. In addition to this I believe the audience we chose of 15-18 year olds (the older teens) would be likely to read magazines and listen to magazine therefore I believe they complement one another well.
