• Video conferencing: Skype, Zoom… 
• Real time document collaboration: Many tools 
• Use of experienced and competent individuals – with 
the credentials: 
• Word of mouth/ referrals 
• Linked in 
• Professional associations

• More requests for recommendations regarding 
trustworthy professionals.

• The true definitions of consultant and advisor have the 
words “independent or objective”, “trust” and 
“advice” embedded in them. 
• How many truly independent advisors are there? – are
