Twitter Adoption and Use in Mass Convergence and Emergency Eventsguest8c177f
This presentation offers a descriptive account of Twitter (a micro-blogging service) across four high profile, mass convergence events—two emergency and two national security. We statistically examine how Twitter is being used surrounding these events, and compare and contrast how that behavior is different from more general Twitter use. Our findings suggest that Twitter messages sent during these types of events contain more displays of information broadcasting and brokerage, and we observe that general Twitter use seems to have evolved over time to offer more of an information-sharing purpose. We also provide preliminary evidence that Twitter users who join during and in apparent relation to a mass convergence or emergency event are more likely to become long-term adopters of the technology.

1. Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway to maintain proportionate temporary
border controls for a maximum period of six months, starting from the day of the adoption of
this Implementing Decision, at the following internal borders
- Austria at the Austrian-Hungarian land border and Austrian-Slovenian land border;
- Germany at the German-Austrian land border;

land border;
- Sweden in the Swedish harbours in the Police Region South and West and at the Öresund

2. The Member States concerned should notify the other Member States, the European

3. Border control should be targeted and limited in scope, frequency, location and time, to
what is strictly necessary to respond to the serious threat and to safeguard public policy and
internal security. The Member State that carries out internal border control pursuant to the
present Implementing Decision should regularly review the necessity, frequency, location and
time of controls, adjust the controls to the level of the threat addressed, phasing them out
wherever appropriate, and report to the Commission every two months.

EAS-SEC: Framework for securing business applicationsERPScan
For a quite long time, ERP Security was only the synonym of segregation of duties. But nowadays this situation has changed. There are 3 areas of Business Application Security such as SOD, Custom Code security and Application platform security. SAP customers are now aware of problems with SAP installations, but they still don’t know, where should they start to solve them.
The aim of EAS-SEC (http://eas-sec.org/) is to aware people about enterprise application security problems and create guidelines and tools for enterprise application security assessment.
