2. CONCEPT / THEME
“Gothic” and “masquerade”
The ‘artist’ will dominate the majority of the scenes and the song revolves around him
Many of the scene reflect the gothic theme.
Through mise-en-scene:
- The costume will be formal with extravagant masks.
- The lighting in the woods will be a blue twilight, night.
- The lighting in the black room will be low (with just the spot light above his head – possibly
swinging side to side).
- The scenes with the choir boys will be dark as they will be wearing black clothes and the lighting
will be coming from either the candles or the windows.
- The singer will have a black suit and black eyeliner (and moments with a black blind fold – velvet,
silk or cloth).
Many props will be used:
- The girls will be drinking ‘champagne’ in champagne glasses also tea in traditional china tea cups.
- A pocket watch.
- Candles.

4. AUDIENCE
HOW ARE WE GOING TO REACH OUR AUDIENCE?
Our target audience are teenagers (16-20*) and we are planning to reach them where
we know they will be…ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES:
7. ARTIST
HOW WILL OUR ARTIST BE REPRESENTED?
He will be represented as someone that is in control through being controlled, this will
be shown through the scene he will be dominating in which is the scene of him tied up
yet he is smirking and showing no fear.
8. INSTITUTION
WHO ARE WE PITCHING TO?
[INSTITUTION RESEARCH]
We have researched into several music companies that distribute music by artists with
similar music to the song we have chosen. By researching the institution we have more
of an understanding on what we need to do to gain the interest of who we are pitching
to and also what is wanted by the audience.
