Russian Union of Patients is holding the IV Russian Congress of Patients in Moscow.
The Congress aims to develop and communicate mechanisms for the Government and
NGOs to stream their cooperative efforts to improve the quality of life of Russian citizens.
The Programme covers relevant topics with regard to health management by both
Governmental and nongovernmental organisations:
• current issues in healthcare development;
• establishing of the system of Public Control in health care, and the surveillance of
laws and decisions in healthcare;
• current issues in provision of pharmaceutical care in Russia;
• cooperation between the professional medical and patients communities: facts and
perspectives.
November 25: Press-briefing with the Minister of Health of the Russian Federation
Veronika Skvortsova during the Plenary Session which will open the The
IV Russian Congress of Patients.
November 26: Round Table on establishing the system of Public Control in healthcare.
Participants include representatives of the Ministry of Health of the
Russian Federation, Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, as well as
representatives of the professional medical and patients communities.
The Congress will also serve as an open discussion platform with Members of State
Duma, representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation,
Ministry of Finance, Federal Antimonopoly Service, Federal Service on Surveillance in
Healthcare and Social Development and other governmental and nongovernmental institutions.
