trade Gold and Crude Oil.
Investors fear US intervention could lead to a wider conflict in the politically volatile
West Asia, a key source of the world’s crude oil supplies.
When risk aversion subsides, there is greater demand for riskier assets and higher
yielding currencies like the Canadian, Australian and Kiwi dollars. One of the best
starting points to determine whether to buy or sell a currency is to monitor economic
and global news that contribute to risk sentiment.
A recent example of this type of dynamic is the euro currency selling at a 16 month low
versus the USD in reaction to concern about the EU debt crisis. Economic and regional
news that shows escalation in the EU debt crisis may spark additional selling pressure of

2. the euro. Positive news that dampens fears about the crisis may encourage buying of the
currency.
You should always be ready to take these opportunities to boost your profits. I believe
traders should have an emergency fund (Not necessary with your broker, but money you
can immediately have available to transfer, but this could also losing time, speak with
your broker, and see how your fund can bring in some money, whilst waiting for
opportunities to trade. available to utilizing these opportunities. However, you should
have an exit plan to ensure that you don’t lose all your profits. Reliable analysis and
alerts fro your Forex Broker(s) is valuable. Choosing these brokers are essential in your
