The United States Constitution grants many rights to the state government and limits the rights of the federal government. Of course, this is often ignored because it's "old-fashioned", and this is the New Deal 2.0 after all, right? However, not everybody accepts this argument and there are many movements within individual states, or parts of states, to usurp their own constitutional rights from the Fed.
