How to Use FTA & TPP Wisely in ASEAN for Companies in Thailand
1. 2015 Korea-ASEAN FTA Seminar
ABOUT THIS SEMINAR
Korea has long been one of ASEAN countries’ oldest and most complementary trading
partners.
Korea-ASEAN FTA has formally entered into effect since June 2007, however due to
the lack of understanding and information, the actual application of the FTA seems less
practical and pragmatic.
Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy (“MOTIE”) has organized the ‘2015
KOREA-ASEAN FTA SEMINAR: Maximizing the Utilization’ jointly with KPMG.
This seminar aims to enhance understanding of country-specific FTA circumstances,
addresses issues associated with a low utilization rate of the FTA, and suggests
practical guidance of the FTA and business strategy to settle the issues.
The main elements of our agenda include major issues and revisions of the Korea-
ASEAN FTA , customs clearance, preferential tariff products/rates, and best practices
of ASEAN companies.
We look forward to active participation and invaluable contribution of importers,
exporters, trade & customs teams, purchase departments, and ASEAN & Korean
enterprises in each country.
