1. Aaron McfarlaneArts Award During the course of the arts award i decided to learn how to play the drums to an exceptional standard. During the course of the 4 6 weeks i had developed my skills on the drums by the aide of my brother who already knows how to play the drums.
2. Week 1 My first week of doing the arts awards was just a practice session and to jus become familiar with the drum kit.
3. Week 2 This weeks session i was learning how to read basic drum notes and understand the different symbols and what they correspond with on the drum kit. This is the symbol for a ‘high hat’ This is the symbol for the ‘bass drum’ This is the symbol for the ‘lower tom’
4. Week 3 This week was when i was playing the drums and creating different beats and different sounds, this session was just and experimental session.
