1. Change
I watched you change. Change like the burning fire changes its colors
from glowing orange to sensational blue, like the sea that sweeps
everything in its tides in the tenth of a second, like the caterpillar that
grows its wings hiding in its quiet shell, like the human who once laughs
with lively joy but gets crushed by the horrific mysteries of life and cuts
deep in the veins but the flowing blood is only a reflection of a bleeding
heart, like the blood that gushes out in unspoken desperation after
moving in a fixed rhythm in it's homely body for years. I watched you
change.
Change from a sweet murmur of love into a malicious beast chasing my
soul, trying to hold so tightly, I was sure to suffocate, sure to lose myself,
sure to bleed, to lose trust. Because I watched you change.
Change into that irreversible knife who once believed in everything I
was, everything I wanted to be, everything I felt. Everything.
I don't know why I had to watch you change. But I did.
