This document contains the Templates and Instructions so you can make your own Salesforce
Character Cards. All of these templates are designed so the character will fit on a 4-inch x
5-inch card. If you want to do bigger or smaller, resize accordingly.
Paper color and additional adornment ideas are included but you are encouraged to bring your
own creativity and ideas. Make these cards your own! When you make these, please share
your creations on social media with the #craftforce tag.

● Use the templates (on next 2 pages) to outline pieces in desired colors. If you want the
character facing the direction in the example, flip templates over before tracing. Tip:
Mark the side you’ll glue down with the name of the piece.
● Cut out all templated pieces.
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to those pieces that will be
behind others (tail behind body, back foot behind body & tail, front leg over body then
hand over body/front leg, belly on body but behind front leg).
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.
● Glue pieces to the card. Glue front leg only on left side to body so you can flip it up and
still see belly.

character facing the direction in the example, flip templates over before tracing. Tip:
Mark the side you’ll glue down with the name of the piece.
● Cut out all templated pieces. Be sure to cut all the solid lines (see Body).
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to those pieces that will be
behind/inside others (belly on body but behind the legs, trail behind the body, face on
head then hair on face, ears on head, hands on body).
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.
● Glue pieces to the card.
● Finally, draw on Astro’s closed eyes using a black marker. Use a double line to give
Astro eyelashes if desired.

● Cut out all templated pieces.
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to those pieces that will be
behind others (right front leg behind the body, left horn behind the head, head on top of
the neck in the body, left horn in front of the head, hooves on top of the bottom of the
feet).
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.
● Glue pieces to the card.
● Finally, draw on Cloudy’s smile using a pink or red marker and eye using a black marker.

character facing the direction in the example, flip templates over before tracing. Tip:
Mark the side you’ll glue down with the name of the piece.
● Cut out all templated pieces.
● Draw/color any ornamentation you plan to add for the coffee cup and/or apron (adding
“Bearista”).
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to those pieces that will be
behind others (chest on body but behind apron, coffee on arm of body and then hand on
coffee, muzzle on body, then nose on muzzle, apron pocket on apron). Also be careful
to lift Codey’s right arm and slide the apron slightly behind it.
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.
● Glue pieces to the card.
● Finally, draw on Codey’s eyes using a black marker.

Hootie McOwlface the Owl (Turkey Hootie)

You can make Hootie with or without the Turkey feathers (the feathers make a great addition for
a Thanksgiving card).
● Use the templates (on next 3 pages) to outline pieces in desired colors. If you want the
character facing the direction in the example, flip templates over before tracing. Tip:
Mark the side you’ll glue down with the name of the piece.
● Cut out all templated pieces.
● Draw/color any ornamentation you plan to add for Hootie’s chest (chest feathers).
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to the order in which you layer
the pieces.
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.

● Cut out all templated pieces. Be sure to cut all the lines from templates (Ruth’s trunk
especially).
● Draw/color any ornamentation you plan to add for the shirt (paint splotches in multiple
colors, pearl necklace).
● Arrange your pieces before gluing, pay special attention to those pieces that will be
behind others (shirt on body with trunk lifted over it, ears behind head, left arm behind
body but in front of left ear, right arm over shirt, tail behind body, pants on body but
beneath shirt, shoes on feet, cheeks on face aligned with top of trunk).
● If you plan on drawing a background for the card, do so before gluing any pieces to it.
● Glue pieces to the card.
● Finally, draw on Ruth’s eyes with eyelashes using a black marker.

Mark the side you’ll glue down with the name of the piece.
● Cut out all templated pieces.
● If you want to cut out stripes for the mane and tail, cut of an additional mane and tail in a
slightly darker shade. Then use those to cut out the stripes and glue onto the lighter
shade version of the pieces.
