Case Study: Brain Hemorrhage gets SUPER PREFERRED Rating
You heard right...our client received a lif e insurance rating of
super pref erred (the best possible) af ter a brain hemorrhage.
So...how did we do it? Well....
The Brain Hemorrhage...
Our 65 year old male client had a brain hemorrhage, specif ically
a subarachnoid hemorrhage in 2005, just six years ago. He had
surgery, and later took blood thinners. Af ter a comprehensive
battery of tests, his doctors determined he did not have any
blood diseases. As a matter of f act, the cause of the
hemorrhage was never f ound.
Client's Current Health...
Height and weight are good
Blood pressure is good
Client takes no medications
Family history is good
No current medical conditions
What happened???
The carrier we went to looked at his history. He had a condition several years that was lif e threatening at that
time, but isn't any longer. The insurance carrier of f ered him a policy at super-pref erred (the lowest cost
available).
As an independent lif e insurance agent we had our choice of insurers. We chose this carrier because of a
special underwriting program just recently announced. Any other carrier most likely would have given our client
a standard rating at best, and the cost would have been almost double (or more)! We have one very happy
client.
Can this program help me get a better rating???
If you f it the criteria... absolutely.
IF you have one pre existing medical condition and it is well controlled you may be eligible.
For example: If you are a Type 2 diabetic and you are compliant with your medications, you may qualif y
f or this program.
YOU MUST f it all other criteria f or pref erred or super pref erred and have one medical condition that is
well controlled.
2. Key Point
Buying your insurance through an independent life insurance agent gives you choices that can save you time
and MONEY!
