Led parking lot lighting Led parking lot lighting Presentation Transcript

    • LED Parking Lot Lighting
      • LED Lighting Fixtures . The benefits of LED parking lot lighting continue to increase daily as this revolutionary technology moves to the forefront of major commercial applications.  LEDs, once the tiny indicator lights of the 70s, now have the power to light entire parking lots around government buildings, car dealerships, public schools, retail strip centers, corporate headquarters, commercial office parks, and local storefronts.
      • For all intents and purposes, any application that was at one time the exclusive domain of HID lighting has now been supplanted by a more energy efficient, and environmentally-friendly, alternative.
      • Regardless of where it is used, LED parking lot lighting delivers key benefits across the board.  Just of few of these benefits include, but are not limited to, the following:
      •
      • ·         Long lamp life
      • ·         An accommodating design that allows businesses on a budget to retrofit new fixtures to existing poles and mounts.
      • ·         LED arrays and LED drivers that can be replaced without tools.
      • ·         Fixtures that are shock and vibration resistant.
      • ·         Cold start capability.
      • ·         Minimal light pollution.
      • ·         A completely sealed, industrial-strength case that protects minimizes light depreciation by keeping out dust and pollution.
      • ·         Consistent temperature and light intensity for the entire life of the fixture.
      •
      • Optimal reliability and heat dissipation are ensured through an array of lighting grade LEDs that are arranged in series/parallel configurations.  Each individual LED uses less than one-tenth of a watt.  Precision optical aiming ensures the best photometric performance, and wing-like panel assemblies allow these fixtures to be field-adjusted to one of six beam patterns to generate required foot candle spread.
      • Other features of LED parking lot lighting include an LED driver that protects fixtures against overheating.  By minimizing heat, consistent lumens output is maintained for the entirety of the unit’s 14-year lifespan.  At the end of unit life, there is only a 30 percent power usage increase.
      •
      • This is negligible when we consider that LEDs immediately begin saving organization 50 to 73 percent on power costs the moment they are installed.  The return on investment that accumulates from energy efficiency alone adds up to a great deal of money over 14 years!
      •
      • Additional power savings options are also available upon request.  Automatic midnight dimming, for example, is ideal for areas such as commercial office parks that have very light, or no traffic at all, after 12 am in the morning.  Light intensity is automatically lowered by 50 percent.
      • However, this does not have to cost a business its security lighting .  Full light intensity can be instantly restored through optional motion sensors that can be externally installed.
      •
      • LED parking lot lighting fixtures are also designed to protect investment against replacement and repair costs.  Aluminum cast housings and sealed acrylic lenses are super tough and built to endure extremes in wind, rain, and temperature.   The unit first undergoes a five stage conversion cleaning process, and then an electrostatic powder coating is applied through fusion heat bonding.
      •
      • All of these attributes of LED parking lot lighting add up at the end of the day to longevity, reliability, and a sure return on investment.
