4. when… my empty nest needed some
JOY. I drove 3 hours to adopt
a timid, tan “Beardie” who had been
surrendered.
It was
Labor Day Weekend
2005
5. She was shaven!
I wanted a guard dog…
She was afraid of everything!
We both needed a forever
friend…
6.
7. We Walked on hot days; from sprinkler
to sprinkler !
On rainy days; despite the fact she
was afraid of the umbrella!
On cold and snowy days; wearing our
boots!
8. OK, maybe not so much
grace…Lexi regularly
walked into
objects, tripped
herself and she didn’t
do backup moves well;
9. We had each other, and that
always made it a little better.
