Inaddiontoalltheupgradesinsize,infrastructure,andtechnology,theimportantdecisionwasmadetoincludeprod-
uctsfromVISTAMATICinthenewParklandHospitalastheproductofchoicefortheirintegralblindneeds.
Oncethedecisionwasmade,VISTAMATICsuppliedinexcessof2,000visionpanelsacrossthefullremitofthehospital
withtheexceponoftheICU.VISTAMATICvisionpanelsarenowoneofthemainfocalpointsofthehospital,asthey
areinstalledinthepaentrooms,aswellasNNICU,LaborandDeliveryunit,X-ray,andoperangrooms.

4. VISTAMATIC’SINNOVATIVECONTRIBUTION
“WesuppliedmanyvariaonsofourVisionPanelsincludingwhitevinylandblastedgraphics,polycarbonatetypically
usedinBehavioralHealthunits,andX-RayglazingtypesthatwereallplacedwithinourVISTA-Max,SuperMax,and
MAX-XLpanels,”explainsRoth.“TheVisionPanelseitherhadaone-sidedoperaonoratwo-sidedoperaondepend-
ingontheareainwhichtheywerebeinginstalled.Theywereinstalledin2013and2014,andinstallaonwillconnue
through2015.”
