An initial sketch was done showing native dancers and cultural symbols. The sketch was then used to create a latex mold which was filled with liquid polyresin to harden into a duplicate of the original piece. Pigments and bronzing were then applied to give the duplicate piece a final bronze appearance.

6. The latex inside is a negative version of the
scene, which is then prepped to receive a liquid
polyresin material that hardens in a few minutes.

9. Once the resin is hardened, the mother
mold and latex is pulled away to reveal
a “duplicate”/copy of the original piece.

11. Pigments, and bronzing is applied to give
the piece its’ final bronze appearance.
