Like a person, Music has many different names and each name pertains to a different sounding
or style of music in which some genres use different instruments. For example rock music uses

o And all sorts of distorters to change the sound of there instruments
4. On the other hand!
Electro Music, Trance,
House, Industrial music,
Hard Electro, Progressive,
Hard style, and almost all
rap is produced on a
laptop with samples and
loops using a program like
garage band or fl studio.
5. How many genres are there???
Well seeing as there are almost no end to the unlimited combinations of genres and sub genres
I don’t think I can name all of them but I can say some of them…

Well with all these genres and sub genres we would have difficulty keeping up
and even listening to it especially since we would have to listen to it with cds and
cassettes.
9. BUT WAIT!!!
Thanks to technology we have things like ipods, zunes, and even phones that
can play back music
10. So What did we learn?
•We learned that music comes in many different genres and come from many
different places
•How we don’t need cassette tapes or cds to listen to music
•That theres too many genres to even count
•How it is that music genres vary depending on the type of music like rock and electro
