July 3 – 7, 2012 Heritage Park Washington and 6th street Kicking off with a Military Appreciation Day July 3, Sundown Salute will include a variety of Family fun,including carnival rides, vendors andcrafts, a parade, car show, a10K run and a mud bogz driving experience. Nikki Davies,activities chair, Junction City Geary County Area Chamber ofCommerce, said the planning experience has been quite a ride sofar, and the event will offer plenty of activities for children toenjoy. Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the five-dayevent.The following bands will take the stage:July 3 • Landslide, the tribute to Fleetwood Mac • Double Vision, atribute band to Foreigner • Think Floyd, a tribute to Pink Floyd July 4 • Hells Bells, the tribute to AC/DC • House of the Holy, atribute to Led Zeppelin • Blackwater, a tribute to the DoobieBrothersJuly 5 • Mark Schultz, Christian singer/songwriter
