2. The star that the wise men followed
has disappeared, but the Christmas
star in my own heart is still burning
brightly.
La stella che i magi seguirono è
scomparsa, ma la stella di Natale
nel mio cuore è ancora accesa e
brillante.

3. Joseph stands tall and steadfast. Mary's head is
bowed in humility as she reflects on the Christ Child
she has delivered. Shepherds kneel in adoration.
Three kings in fine robes approach with gifts in
hand. The donkey that Mary rode to Bethlehem
stands alongside sheep and perhaps a cow. All
attention is directed toward the tiny baby lying in a
manger. He is at the center of Christmas, yet the
scene would not be complete without each of those
other figures.
Each of us also has a role to fulfill in the scene of
life. With Christ at the center, the picture is
complete.
Giuseppe è lì in piedi, alto e risoluto. Maria inchina
umilmente il capo mentre riflette sul Bambino cui ha
appena dato luce. I pastori s'inginocchiano in
adorazione. Tre re vestiti lussuosamente si avvicinano
con in mano i loro doni. L’asinello che Maria ha
cavalcato fino a Betlemme è lì con le pecore e forse un
bue. L’attenzione di tutti è rivolta al bambinello
deposto in una mangiatoia. Lui è al centro del Natale,
ma la scena non sarebbe completa senza ognuno degli
altri personaggi.
Anche ognuno di noi ha un ruolo da svolgere nel
realizzare la scena della vita. Con Cristo al suo centro,
il quadro è completo.

4. The world is filled with the
sights of Christmas. If you
look with your outer eyes, you
will see brightly decorated
trees, tinseled stars, flaming
candles, and a crèche. If you
look with the inner eye, you
will see the star of Bethlehem
in your own heart.
Il mondo è pieno degli
spettacoli del Natale. Se
guardi con gli occhi soltanto,
vedrai alberi pieni di colori e
decorazioni, stelle filanti,
candele accese e un presepe.
Se guardi con gli occhi dello
spirito, vedrai la stella di
Betlemme dentro il tuo cuore.

5. Oh Christmas star, shine your light
and guide us all to the true
meaning of Christmas! Direct us to
the Savior, the Prince of Peace, that
we too may have peace in our
hearts and good will toward all
men.
O stella di Natale, spandi la tua luce
su di noi e guidaci al vero significato
del Natale! Conducici al Salvatore,
al Principe della Pace, affinché
possiamo anche noi avere pace nel
cuore e buona volontà verso gli
uomini.

6. Dear Jesus, the shepherds brought
their wonder and worship; the wise
men brought their gifts of gold,
frankincense, and myrrh to honor
You. I bring love and gratitude.
Caro Gesù, i pastori portarono il
loro stupore e la loro adorazione; i
tre re saggi portarono in regalo oro,
incenso e mirra per onorarti. Io
porto amore e gratitudine.
