FRANK PFISTER
I met Frank Nuka Hiva, Marqueses archipeligo, French Polynesia October 2014.
Frank had just completed a sailing contract at Nuku Hiva and was due to begin another
contract from Tahiti.
I had the privilage of him joining my Yacht Perie Banou II (S&S 39) to sail 790 NM from
Nuku Hiva to Tahiti.
Perie Banou is returning to Fremantle Western Australia after completing the 2014 Cape
Town to Rio de Janeiro Race with Crew (Southatlantic Race).
I was returning single-handed (as my normal) to Fremantle.
This being my 9th
circumnavigation of the world in my own Yacht under my command.
Frank Pfister has a number of marine qualifications and impressive Ocean experience.
Frank is intelligent, charismatic, helpfull, very respectfull, tidy and clean.
He understands boats, rigging, sails and engines.
He gets along with people young and older.
The signor (myself) has a number of single-handed sailing records (google JON SANDERS
Yachtsman), aside from that I have delivered many Yachts racing, cruising and power yachts to
80 ft Coastal and Trans-Ocean.
I would not hesitate – if the need came, to have Frank fully in charge and in command of my
own Yacht or that I was charged with.
Frank has a Masters degree in Political Science (two Universities). Worked for one year four
months with Emirates (Airlines) as flight crew etc.
