Re: Drayden Wojahn, dob 12/6/08, minor (victim) and Tiffany Gilbert Brady Sirek (perpetrator)
Sheriff Fitzgerald:
It has come to my attention that your office has summarily declined to investigate the abuse of Drayden Wojahn by his
mother, Tiffany Gilbert Brady Sirek. As a parent and advocate for all children, I am appalled.
Per the Wisconsin State Statutes, 948.04 paragraph 1, “Whoever is exercising temporary or permanent control of a child
and causes mental harm to that child by conduct which demonstrates substantial disregard for the mental well-being of
the child is guilty of a Class F felony.” More than adequate proof that Ms. Brady has mentally harmed her child exists,
and as such she should be investigated and charged with the crime, as established by the Wisconsin State law. Ms.
Brady’s Facebook account provides more than adequate proof of this abuse: Drayden dressed up in a little girl’s dress,
his hair in a pony tail, wearing full makeup and forced, confused and frightened, to pose for a camera time and time
again; and, two separate pictures showing a frightened Drayden with his mouth duct taped shut.
Per the Wisconsin State Statutes, 948.21, paragraph 1, “Any person who is responsible for a child's welfare who, through
his or her actions or failure to take action, intentionally contributes to the neglect of the child is guilty of one of the
following” section a “A Class A misdemeanor.” Once more, Ms. Brady’s own Facebook site shows that Ms. Brady has
across time neglected her child’s welfare. Drayden is consistently shown wearing clothes that are far too small for him,
and sleeping on floors and in chairs, as Ms. Brady never provided him a bed in which to sleep.
Per the Wisconsin State Statutes, 948.20 “Whoever, with intent to abandon the child, leaves any child in a place where
the child may suffer because of neglect is guilty of a Class G felony.” In January of 2012, while a resident of Barron
County, Wisconsin, Ms. Brady did in fact sign away custody of her child to a person she barely knew, after this
individual’s own child witnessed Ms. Brady attempt to smother Drayden. As revealed during the course of the Barron
County Department of Health and Human Services, Drayden did, in fact, suffer maltreatment while in the hands of this
individual. Ms. Brady abandoned her child without regard to his safety.
Given Barron County DHHS found Ms. Brady did in fact maltreat her child, and they have Ms. Brady’s own statements in
which she bragged about the abuse she has inflicted upon Drayden (which can be utilized in an investigation), the fact
that the Sheriff’s Department has summarily refused to investigate Ms. Brady for felony and misdemeanor abuse is
unconscionable. If this were your child or grandchild that had had his head beaten against a floor, slammed into a table,
his mouth taped shut, cross dressed for his parents amusement, wearing clothes far too small and without a bed to
sleep in, I have no doubt that you would be demanding a full investigation as well.
I respectfully ask that you investigate Ms. Brady for abuse and neglect, and that your office do everything within its
power to protect this child from further abuse at the hands of his mother…before it is TOO late!
Sincerely,
Your Name
