• An interactive tool that allows users to display a wide array of real-time
information easily and quickly.
• Drag a master data object onto the list of transactions types on the “Drag
and Relate” tab to gain an overview of your business.
Query Wizard
• Using the “Query Manager” icon on the tool bar, users can create and
build their own reports based on specific business needs.
Cockpit
• The “My Cockpit” tab is an alternative tool that can be used when
accessing information.
• Completely customizable to each user based on personal preference.

3. Drag and Relate
SAP Business One’s Drag and Relate feature is simple yet powerful.
• Drag and Relate enables users to create reports on the fly.
• It is a unique functions that provides users with an intuitive and simple way of
building basic reports.
• Generates an ad hoc view of data by linking master data elements to transactions.
• Ability to filter the report according to business needs.
• Ability to export the report to Excel.
• One of the main benefits – every field that is dragged to a subject on the
command panel will create a new view/report.
4. Query Wizard
The Query Wizard is a tool that helps users create a report that does not already exist
in SAP Business One. Some features include:
• Ability to easily retrieve information out of the system with minimal technical
expertise.
• Automatically associates the correct table with the document name.
• Use the Golden Arrows within the report to drill down for more detailed
information.
• Save the query in SAP Business One for future use.
Scenario: Build a report using the Query Wizard showing the business
partners, including their telephone number, with an account balance greater than
zero.
5. Cockpit
3 areas within the Cockpit are:
• The Look up – also known as an Application Wide Search, is located in the top right
corner of the screen. Allows the user to type the window names that you are
searching for and have a brand new document open up. It’s a quick and easy way
to locate a specific document.
• Open Documents – provides users with a snap shot of a selected list of open items.
This widget reduces the time spent going through the Main Menu to find certain
documents. It also allows users to attach an activity to the document for further
action and follow up.
• Common Functions – provides users with quick and convenient access to
documents that are used most often. Drag and drop the type of document into
the Common Function’s widget.
