What Is The Optimal Number Of Tweets Per Day_
1. What Is The Optimal Number Of Tweets Per Day?
As a member of Twitter for some time now, I often hear questions from other users on how to get
started, how to be successful and how to get followers. A common question is, "What is the optimal
number of tweets per day"?
I think the answer to that question is relative to how many followers you have and what you have of
importance to say. Too much spam will cause people to remove you but too little tweeting and you'll
get lost in the fray. If you have something important to say or to RT, I say go for it but if you're having
an exceptionally busy Tweeting day then you might want to lay off the "I'm walking my dog" posts.
If there is a reason why you tweet many tweets per day (such as you offer trivia tips, reposts from a
blog or website, job postings, etc.) then be sure to list this in your bio and people will know what they
are getting into.
A good range for a regular Twitter poster is anywhere from 10-20 posts per day, as long as you have
something worthy to say. If you have a slow day, you may post 5-10. The number of tweets you make
may rise as you have more followers and more things of use to people.
However, if you tweet 50-75 tweets a day, there's nothing wrong with this. Just keep in mind if you're
tweeting junk no one cares about or peddling your stuff 24/7, people are going to remove you as a
spammer.
