1. The root cause of an upsurge of diseases like ‘Typhoid’,
‘Diarrhoea’, ‘Swine Flu’ in this village ‘Sandhanidhar’
…Heaps of garbage and dirty puddles..

2. We saw an immediate need to act….An awareness
programme for the people of Sandhanidhar in a local
school.. Ambujites teaching the villagers through
skits and road show….

3. How to curb the diseases like Diarrhoea,Typhoid
and Swine Flu??…Why the village is suffering from
those deadly diseases ????

4. Grass root level awareness was
paramount…villagers had to know about
hygiene,sanitation and health. A rally with the
local school children …

5. Occasion is ‘Gandhi Jayenti’ and a large
contingent of students, teachers,volunteers and
locals cleaning the roads.. Squares and village
lanes..

6. Segragated waste was also cleared..
Villagers worked hand in hand with our
children and then there was no garbage
around…

7. One can see the improved conditions of the village after the
Cleanliness drive… These healthy conditions can now reduce the
risk of the deadly diseases which the village is suffering from…This
is not the end of the story…We would visit the village every fortnigh
for a year to help people live a clean and safe life.. Efforts
continue…

8. Students from ‘Ambuja Vidya Niketan’, students from ‘Shri
Sandhanidhar Prathmik Shala’, teachers and principals of both the
schools, ACL people and Villagers of ‘Sandhanidhar’ can be seen
after 3 hrs of cleanliness drive..
