The greatest part of my career was in ICT, of which the greatest part was as a Database Administrator, of which the greatest part was working for BACS, the financial clearing house now called Vocalink. Before all that I taught Maths full time for two years, and before that I worked for six years in Operational Research. Since retiring from BACS I have taught maths, run a small desktop publishing and web design business and written on athletics for the Jewish Chronicle.
